Earth tone flute – 432Hz Frequency Tuning
In the world of music there has been a revival of tuning instruments to lower frequencies of sound vibration. Until recently, most musical instruments have been tuned so that the “A” note (of the middle octave on a piano) is tuned to 440Hz (Hz = cycles per second). This is known as Concert Pitch and was established as a standard at the beginning of the 20th century.
The EarthTone wooden flutes use a 432Hz frequency for the “A” note and all other notes are aligned accordingly
The Spirit Flute 440 Hz Traditional Bass flute in the key of 'E' minor is handcrafted from Spanish Cedar, a softwood that gives the flute a rich bass voice, warm high notes, and the versatility to be played as a contemplative bass flute or a lead instrument.
The short mouthpiece is convenient for travel, it provides ample back-pressure to accentuate clarity on the higher register notes and minimizes moisture buildup.
The Condor is a bass flute with a bigger bore, giving the flute a deeper mellow tone
